In the meantime, here’s what some of our great team say about work for Arc Inspirations.

Back in 2003 I stepped into Trio Bar & Kitchen as a bright-eyed young student, looking for a part-time job. Within a month, I was working full time and completely hooked! Over the coming months I progressed from glass collector through the ranks to assistant bar manager. Job satisfaction was high and this was topped with the Trio team winning a company sales incentive trip to Barcelona.
As I continued to develop, the opportunities to succeed kept coming and we kept being rewarded with trips including Dublin and Palma. On top of that during my stint as bar manager, Trio won national acclaim at the Class Awards, voted Best Night Out.
Now as general manager at The Arc, I am hoping to achieve new heights of success and see my fantastic team experience some of the fantastic opportunities I’ve had.

I started as a bar tender two and a half years ago at The Hub. Eighteen months later I was persuaded to join the team responsible for launching Banyan Bar & Kitchen in Harrogate. Despite the challenges, the launch was a huge success. I received loads of guidance and training and was given more and more responsibility. I developed new skills and was promoted to assistant manager. Within a few months I was promoted from food service manager to deputy manager. This was a massive step to take and it certainly wouldn’t have happened without the guidance and development I got from the managers around me.
During one of my regular ‘good to talk’ sessions with Anni, operations director, she asked if I wanted to be a general manager one day. My only slight concern was that I’m no spring chicken and wanted to make sure that at 40, I could still be a general manager. Not surprisingly, Anni agreed that if I still had the passion for the job at 40 years, then there would definitely be an opportunity for me.
Arc Inspirations has developed me into the manager I am today and I am totally committed to them for that. They work hard to achieve the values they set themselves and I do the same for them. I am now general manager of The Hub, all this is just two and a half years!
